Based on a Japanese Izakaya - a word which literally means ‘stay-drink-place’ - the tradition combines the atmosphere of a laid-back bar with small expertly-put-together plates of food
Book a table in our small restaurant; grab yourself a spot at the kitchen counter; or settle in with a group of up to 10 people in our beautiful first-floor dining room, filled with big views and evening sun.

Our menu changes monthly, with a weekly specials board and The Pelican Set (£27) which is available Wednesday/Thursday dinner & Thursday/Friday lunch.
Our upstairs dining room is available for groups of up to 10 people. Please message us for more information.
The Cellar Bar is open for drinks and small plates on Friday & Saturday evenings. Head downstairs and pull up a pew, no need to book.

Our dining room on the first floor seats up to 10 guests. A bright, spacious room with views out over the Deal conservation area and with the evening sun streaming through the window.
Choose between ordering à la carte or allow Luke, our head chef, to put together your own menu to suit your guests. We are happy to cater to all dietary requirements.
